Angela Akins Gracia, a young woman who was enthusiastic about sports, decided to take up playing golf. After a series of classes, Angela Akins mastered the art of making a steady and strong swing. With time she became experienced, winning over 8 tournaments in her high school time. Garcia was the captain of Mable Falls High School's high school team, and took them to 3rd place in the regional competition in 2003. The team then finished 6th in 2006 as they were the team that finished sixth. It's no secret that Garcia is proficient in the game. She has won more than 17 gold medals at the national level. She is a part of the Women's Texas Golf Association. Garcia attended Texas Christain University after graduating the high school in about three years. She then moved to University of Texas. The University of Texas provided her with more challenges at the university, which made her abilities stronger over time. Angela Akin Garcia was a fantastic golfer but never imagined pursuing a career in golf. Her choice was to study journalism instead. Following her graduation her degree, she was employed as a Fox Sports Southwest reporter.
